Whether I learned this somewhere in my early days singing Taylor Swift, or when I bought my first pair of cowboy boots, only the Lord knows. I will always live by the belief that God placed people in this world to be somebody, and as easy as it is to feel like a nobody, especially through the triumphant battles of the modern world of social media, nobody was made to be nobody.

It’s not easy to be vulnerable with the world and sometimes even ourselves but, the only way to live it out is to live it out for yourself. In the most authentic way possible. I used to fear judgement and the feeling of being too much for other people, until I realized how boring it is to live for others. I love country music, I love wearing pretty dresses on days it doesn’t count, I love experiences that fulfill my heart and most importantly I’ve learned, with a lot of time, to love who I am.
